Review : Great bed with two small disappointments
This bed has been great for my children. It is everything the description states. I do have two complaints. In the picture it appears that all of the hardware (bolt holes) have covers (caps) on them. I shopped around before buying this bed and one of the reasons why I chose this one is because I thought the bolts were capped and less visible. The bed did not come with caps. All of the shiny metal hardware is very visible. The picture is very misleading. The description states that the bed fits standard twin mattresses (39" x 74"). Standard twin mattresses are actually 39" x 75". I did fit 75" mattresses on the bed, but they are so snug that changing the sheets and making the beds are very challenging. The extra inch would be helpful in getting my hand around the ends of the mattresses to put sheets on or tuck blankets in. However, my kids love the bed. It feels very sturdy and the drawers are great for storing toys.
