Review : Too much style play at the expense of usability
Did the designer of this bed had ever tried this bed at least once?

I bought this bed, 2 mattresses included, for $150 (used by in good condition). Even at that price, I consider I wasted my money. Although this bed looks interesting in style, the major flaw is the C-Shape. Because of this C-Shape the lateral section of the bed is significantly reduced. Practically the entire upper bunk is balanced by a permanent torque on the smallest section of the C. As a result, this acts as a spring. With a person weighting around 100 pounds on the top bunk, you can see the bed swinging up/down quite noticeably.

Also the cheap mount used to assemble the bed is not rigid enough. The bed also swings laterally (left/right) when the kid uses the ladder at the side (the only way to get to the top bunk).

Ironically, when the bed is disassembled, each component looks very sturdy. The flaw is that stupid C-Shape which ruined the whole bed. That was my mistake, I looked at...
