Review : Good quality, but...
Overall all, I think this is a good bunk bed for the money (around $300 when I purchased). All of the wood pieces seem to be solid wood and the hardware also seemed to be of good quality. However, I've had two issues already. First, there were no instructions with the bed and it took 2 hrs for 3 adults to put it together by trial and error. I'm assuming there are supposed to be instructions that were forgotten in mine. As much as I wanted to contact the seller and have them send me some, there was no way we could wait and disappoint the kids after it was all out of the box. Second, the rail on the top bunk does not come very high at all. A warning label claims mattresses should not be over 6" tall. I wish the description would have told us that b/c we purchased 8" mattresses and the rail is only about two inches taller, so we had to put another rail in place to ensure our kids stay on the bed.
