Review : Misleading but still Good
While the directions are relatively clear and designed for the beginner woodworker I do believe the picture is a bit misleading. The directions have you place the plywood directly on the back of the upright 2x4's and place another 2x4 above the plywood. After doing that I do not see how the finished product will look as nice as the one pictures. There is just no way the plywood panels will look like your cabinet doors at home or the pictures in the ad. Also, no matter how much I searched around, I could not find a picture that could be blown up so that I could actually see a better finished product. Even the pictures in the directions avoid showing how the panels should or will look, though they did show all the other construction steps in nice detail.
So while I do believe the photo is a bit misleading, with a little bit of extra effort and additional knowledge I do believe you can adapt the plans to create a really quality piece of furniture. Measurements would have...
