Well, the bed arrived when promised, and the design was what we hoped for. Thats the extent of the good news. The first bit of bad news is that this bed is made of the softest wood I've ever seen -- even the slightest bump would leave a large dent (e.g. dropping a small screwdriver during assembly from a height of less than 2 feet). Great for a kids room, right? Worse, the bed has serious offgassing problems. After weeks (yes, weeks) of trying to get the odor to go away (leaving the window open, then having a fan on it, then having a dehumidifier in the room with the window closed), the harsh (and likely toxic) smell of the wood/finish continued to dominate the room. So we finally gave up and deconstructed the bed. And when we contacted the seller about the problem? They only accept returns within 3 days of shipment, and only if the item hasn't been assembled.
